The Wishlist Post #8: Getting ready for A/W

I absolutely frickin’ LOVE winter! It is without a doubt my favourite time of the year and as soon as I get back from my summer holiday, I can’t wait for the a/w stuff to start coming in. This year I think the highstreet is really bringing it and I love so much stuff already, so that means it is definitely time for a wishlist post. Now all I need is my nutmeg latte – hurry up Starbucks!

1. Felt Fedora Hat, ASOS £20

In the past year or so I have transformed into a full on hat person. I love the Fedora trend at the minute and this camel coloured one would go perfect with the pastel blue Primark coat I have been itching to get my hands on.

2. Black Tartan Check Reversible Oversized Scarf, New Look £14.99

How good an idea is this?! This nifty reversible number is a black and tartan check scarf all in one, which means you can stay warm and on trend whatever you are wearing – perfecto!

3. Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Sponge-On Cream Makeup, Debenhams £24

I tried this foundation when I was invited down to my local Debenhams counter last week to try out their new skin scanner (keep your eyes peeled for a full review of that coming soon!) and I fell completely in love. It has a really lovely creamy yet velvety texture and it gave a flawless coverage that lasted for hours. I used the Elizabeth Arden skin tone matcher to find out that I needed the shade soft beige and it was a perfect fit.

4. Grey Faux Fur Bobble Knit Beannie, New Look £7.99

Another hat is very necessary because I am now a hat person.

5. Black and Pink Formal Zip Front Backpack, New Look £19.99

Another thing I am really happy about this season is the return of the backpack. I really like the formal looking backpacks, which turn a usually quite casual and boyish style item into a stylish office accessory – this will definitely be coming along to all my meetings for the rest of the year!

6. Pink Faux Fur Collar, New Look £9.99

Last winter, I gave into the trend of the pastel pink coat and I will definitely be getting mine back out the wardrobe for this year. This fur collar would be perfect to wear with it to give it an extra twist for the new season.

7. Balayage Highlights

I recently went for a bit of change and had some balayage highlights added to my hair and I love it! My end goal is to have the ends even blonder but so my hair doesn’t get completely ruined I need to do it in gradual stages. Hopefully my the time I go to New York I will have the hair of my dreams!

8. Gabrielle Suedette Worker Boot, £25.00

Finally I am adding a bit of builders sheek to my wishlist. I have always loved this style of boot but I was worried they would make me look a bit stumpy! These Boohoo beautys are less clumpy than some of their counterparts so I think they might be a safe bet.

What’s on your wishlist for the new season? What do you think of my picks?
