The Event Post #1: Next Blogger Network Workshop

A couple of weeks ago, the Next Bloggers Network held their #NBN Workshop to celebrate their second birthday. This was due to be my first ever blogger event and so I was super duper excited! Unfortunately the weather Gods were not working in my favour and stupid old St Jude (that horrendous storm that was really a bit of heavy rain) caused the trains from Birmingham to London to be cancelled and I very sadly couldn’t attend.

I am honestly really really gutted I couldn’t go, as the pictures from the event look amazing! You can check them out here. However the lovely girls from Next were kind enough to send me over the goodie bag from the event in the post. This was also a first for me as it is the first blogger parcel I have received (yay!), so thank you Next for helping me reach one of my first blogger milestones! Below is a brief look at the lovely Next goodies that were included in the gift bag.

From left to right is the ornate mini frame* (RRP £6 for a set of 3), the trendy #NBN workshop notebook, the Animal Sequin Snuggle Sock* (RRP £14) peeking out from the back and the Luxury candle in Jasmine and Tigerlily* (RRP £7).

The snuggle socks are perfect for keeping my feet warm on chilly winter evenings, I will have to keep my eye on these because my mum seems to have taken a fond liking to them.

The Jasmine and Tigerlily candle is perfect for me as I am not overly keen on sickly sweet scents in my room – the opulent floral yet fruity tone is soft enough to leave it burning all night long, ideal for my late night reading sessions.

The notebook has now become my blogging bible, with the first page taken up by my ‘Blog Post To-Do list’, if you look closely you might even get a sneaky peak at what’s coming up on A much prettier puzzle in the next few weeks.

So thank you Next for all my goodies and let’s hope the weather doesn’t get in the way of me attending my first blogger event next week, The Company Magazine VIP Christmas Party (wahhhhh!) – if so I might have to whip out my magic carpet.
