One of the new crazes in the beauty world is a subscription box and brands like Birchbox and Glossybox have drummed up a loyal following of beauty lovers who pay a monthly fee to receive a box with a host of the latest skincare and cosmetic goodies to have hit the shelves.
The latest to join them is ‘Nailbox‘, which is exactly what it sounds like – a box filled with polishes and accessories to keep your nails looking great. I was sent out one of their first boxes to put to the test.
In the box I received four different polishes, Essie Muchi Muchi, China Glaze Peachy Keen, OPI Kiss Me On My Tulips and Revlon Buttercup. All four shades were bright and summery and the China Glaze and Revlon polishes were totally different to anything I would usually wear on my nails. I was quite impressed with the quality of polishes you received in the box – an Essie polish would cost £8 by itself so with each box pricing between £13-£15 a month it is definitely good value! After testing them all out, I think my favourite has to be Buttercup – a warm and soft yellow that looks beaut in the sun.
The only negative for me was that there wasn’t a bit more variety in the products you received, maybe some nail stickers or nail art pens would be a nice addition, although looking at boxes released after this one I think they have started to do just that!
If you are a big lover of looking after your nails then this could be the perfect payday treat for you. Have you ever tried any subscription boxes? Which one is your favourite?
